Indian Lake Ohio restaurants

Very nice new family restaurant located within a mile of Indian Lake, OH lakefront. Accessible by boat with just a short walk from docking area. Beautifully refurbished new eatery in downtown Lakeview, replacing the former (cough dive cough) Lucky's.

Nice menu with traditional Mexican fare. XX, Coors and Bud Light on tap, domestic bottles and Corona, XX Dark and lager, Tecate, Negro Modelo and Pacifico cervezas Mexicanos. Sangria and light wines plus tequila drinks. I did not sample the margaritas. Pepsi products for the non-drinkers.

Fresh fried tostadas and delicious pureed salsa came quickly to the table. We ordered a guacamole appetizer which was chunky and quite good.

I had the chicken fajitas grilled with peppers and onions - very tasty and not overly salty. Frijoles refritos with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and rice accompanied the meal.

My friends had tacos and quesadillas and liked them. Other offerings include vegetarian as well as meat based dinners. All of the usual suspects - chalupas, flautas, enchiladas, tamales and burritos. Huevos rancheros served anytime. Fajitas included shrimp as well as chicken and beef.

Desserts include flan, sopapillas and fried ice cream.

I definitely will return to sample some of the other dinners. They have a salad with shrimp which sounded good and huevos rancheros are also intriguing. Lunch menu is also available from 11 - 2:30 M-S.
